A new look to JCPC
This summer we will be exchanging rooms with the Rush Nursery School and we need your help to get things ready. The majority of the work will be done in June and July. Keep your eyes and ears open for more information. If you're not fond of working indoors, how about helping keep the church grounds looking good. The next scheduled work day is Wednesday, June 10 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. If you can't make it that evening, give Nancy M. a call and find out what other tasks you can tackle when you have free time. |
| Sundae Sunday
We will have a special fellowship after worship on Sunday, June 14. Everyone will be able to make their own sundaes, ice cream and toppings will be provided. While we sit and eat our treats we will gather feedback from the Unbinding Our Hearts JCPC participated in this spring. We will also talk about the work that needs to be done involving the RNS renovation this summer. The renovation involves many tasks, some large and some small. Please try to attend and volunteer for what ever chore you are able to do. |
11th Annual Plant Sale
The Plant Sale was a great success. The rain came in short blasts and the wind kept the mosquitoes away. A special thank you to the manager of Country Max who donated a beautiful planter of annuals and to Barb H who donated a Gardeners Goody Basket, both of which were raffled off. And thanks to all the hard workers who helped set up, tear down, sort plants and fill pre-sale orders. |
